The "Eleventh Five-Year" period is a critical period for China to transform from a major textile country to a strong textile country. For this reason, the National Development and Reform Commission and other 10 ministries jointly issued the "Notice on Several Opinions on Accelerating the Structural Adjustment of the Textile Industry and Promoting Industrial Upgrading". The "Eleventh Five-Year" textile industry development plan was formulated. The plan proposed that by the end of the "Eleventh Five-Year" the total textile fiber processing reached 36 million tons, an increase of about 35% over the end of the Tenth Five-Year Plan (2005). During the "Five-Year Plan" period, the textile industry will still have a greater development. At the same time, as the technical equipment of the textile industry, the textile machinery industry must have a greater development. The development of the textile industry and the textile machinery industry requires frequency conversion technology and computer technology. With the strong support of high-tech such as network communication technology, the textile industry is a huge market for frequency converters and programmable logic controllers (PLC). The development of the textile industry requires frequency converters, and the development of frequency conversion technology cannot be separated from textiles.

2 The structural adjustment of the textile industry during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period

Ten ministries and commissions including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Science and Technology jointly issued the "Notice on Several Opinions on Accelerating the Structural Adjustment of the Textile Industry and Promoting Industrial Upgrading" in May 2006. At present, there is still a big gap between my country’s textile machinery and the internationally advanced textile machinery. Especially the products with independent innovation are few. At present, most of the textile machinery from the 1980s and 1990s are absorbed and absorbed. The products are being digested. There is basically no innovation in the absorption, only the localization work. Therefore, our buckle end belt products have always followed others for decades, the gap is still large, and it has not been able to replace imports. According to customs statistics, imports of textile machinery and equipment reached US$3.445 billion in 2005. For example, the average import of various shuttleless looms in recent years reached more than 30,000 units (US$615.8 million). The annual average import of various knitting machinery has reached more than 30,000 units (786.7 million US dollars). Knitting machinery and shuttleless looms are the slower technological development of various textile machinery, and they are also far behind the technical level of similar mechanical buckle end belt equipment in foreign countries. One of the main gaps is the low level of mechatronics technology. For example, the main drive of various weft knitting machines uses frequency conversion speed regulation and PLC control is only about 1/3. The main transfer of the shuttleless loom is less than 1/4 of the frequency conversion speed control and PLC control. According to reports, during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, my country will reduce imports of various textile machinery. This requires technological innovation to develop and manufacture a batch of high-tech, high-end textile machinery products to replace imports and meet market development needs. During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, a batch of textile machinery products with a higher level of overall mechatronics will be launched. Of course, it will also actively promote the application of frequency conversion speed regulation technology, computer and PLC technology, digital technology, network communication technology and online detection and monitoring technology of process parameters, which will finally make a new breakthrough in the overall mechatronics technology of textile machinery.

3 Development of new complete sets of textile machinery and equipment

The "Eleventh Five-Year" textile industry development plan puts forward that my country will vigorously revitalize the equipment manufacturing industry. 10 new types of complete sets of textile machinery and equipment will be tackled and industrialized to promote the technological progress and development of the textile industry, and the strategic goals of realizing digitalization of single machines and realizing informatization of workshops and enterprises will be put forward.

The 10 new complete sets of textile machinery equipment are:

(1) A complete set of polyester staple fiber equipment with a daily output of 200 tons (an annual output of 60,000 tons) and above. The spinning machine and post-processing combined machine will all adopt the industrial Ethernet bus control system to initially realize the integration of management and control, including post-processing combined The single inverter used in the machine will have a larger capacity of 800-1000kW and a voltage of 690V.

(2) Continuous spinning machine for viscose filament

The spinning speed is above 120m/min, automatic doffing, automatic spinning up, multi-motor transmission, frequency conversion (servo) synchronous speed regulation, PLC and IPC machine control, touch screen operation, and display field bus control system.

(3) High-efficiency modern cotton spinning production line

Including high-efficiency short-flow blowing and carding combined machine, high-speed draw frame connected to the carding machine, multi-motor driven roving frame, digital, multi-motor driven combing machine, high-speed automatic rotor spinning machine, fine winder Linked automatic winders, etc., these equipment adopt PLC (or IPC) control, frequency conversion (servo) speed regulation and network communication technology to realize digital control.

(4) Mechatronics rapier loom and air jet loom

Focus on solving airflow weft insertion technology, electronic feeding diameter and electronic winding technology, intelligent control technology, beating-up technology, high-speed shedding technology, using frequency conversion speed regulation, servo or stepping motor drive, PLC control or loom dedicated controller control The start and stop sequence, time and positioning of each motor.

 In addition, there are spunbond and melting nonwoven production lines, computerized garden weft knitting machines, computerized automatic flat knitting machines, high-speed tricot warp knitting machines, dyeing and finishing equipment process parameters online detection technology and high efficiency, energy saving, Environmentally friendly dyeing and finishing equipment, etc., will not be detailed one by one.

The "Eleventh Five-Year" development plan proposes that by the end of the "Eleventh Five-Year" period, advanced textile machinery and equipment will be 40% more important. On the one hand, this is achieved by the research and industrialization of 10 new complete sets of textile machinery and equipment; The existing equipment adopting new technology gradually replaces the old equipment. For example, the annual sales of 20,000 ring spinning frames, the buckle end belt export basically uses frequency conversion speed control, while only 20-25% of the spinning frames sold in the domestic market use frequency conversion speed control. The annual sales of suspended roving frames are 4000-5000 units, and about 25-30% are still driven by two-speed motors without speed regulation. The roving frame with multi-motor transmission is only about 10%. The annual output of various shuttleless looms is more than 30,000, and the main drive adopts frequency conversion speed control less than 10%. This shows that the market potential for the promotion and application of frequency converters in textile machinery is still great. It also shows that the promotion of new technologies and new equipment takes time and requires continuous improvement. After improvement, after a large area of trials, it proves that its performance is stable and reliable, and the price is reduced. Only after it can be generally accepted can it be fully promoted.

 4 Inverter has broad application prospects in the textile industry

It can be seen from the above that during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the inverter has a broad application prospect in the textile industry. The main features are:

(1) The single-unit capacity of the frequency converter is further increased to 800kW—1000kW and develops towards medium and high voltage 690V.

(2) Develop special frequency converters for textiles

During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, some inverters have built-in multi-stage speed control, triangular wave speed control and warp calculation functions, which basically meet the speed control requirements of spinning machines, winders and constant tension windings. During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, with the development of production and the increase in the number of frequency converters used, it is possible to introduce some special frequency converters for textiles, such as special frequency converters for winding heads, special frequency converters for looms, frequency converters for spinning machines, and so on.

The main functions of the special inverter for the winder should include the triangular wave speed control function and the fixed length function. In order to ensure that the tow has a good winding shape, no overlapping wires, no collapse, etc., the running speed of the winding traverse device should follow the triangular wave law The changes are shown in Figure 1. When the length of the winding tow reaches the set value, the solenoid valve should be controlled to complete the rapid and smooth switching of the full tube and the empty tube.

The special frequency converter for looms mainly has the characteristic of peak starting torque. Rapier looms, air-jet looms, etc., in order to eliminate or reduce the thin and dense gear caused by starting and stopping, and affect the quality of the fabric. ) At the moment of starting, the peak starting torque that outputs 6-8 times the rated torque is short. After starting (within a few seconds), the torque drops to the rated value. Starting torque of the loom: In addition to adjusting the speed according to the set spinning curve (as shown in Figure 3), the special frequency converter for spinning frame also requires the frequency converter to have high efficiency and low temperature rise. The improvement of efficiency mainly depends on reducing the switching loss of power devices, and the reduction of temperature rise, one can increase the heat dissipation area, so that the volume of the inverter increases; second, water cooling can be used to dissipate heat, which can effectively reduce the temperature rise of the inverter , But it is necessary to add a set of water-cooling circulation system. In addition, due to the large amount of fly (ultra-short fibers) in the spinning frame workshop, the control is not intended to be sealed, which is not conducive to the heat dissipation of electrical components. Therefore, the installation structure of the inverter should be different, such as placing the radiator outside or other Installation method.

(3) The application of frequency converters in the textile industry will further increase

According to the statistics of China Textile Machinery Association, the total output value of my country's textile machinery has increased by more than 20% in recent years. For example, in 2005, it increased by 22.6% over 2004 to reach 45.365 billion yuan. In 2006, the total output value of textile machinery will exceed 50 billion yuan and reach 526 100 million yuan, my country's various textile machinery exports have increased by more than 20% annually. For example, it was more than 600 million US dollars in 2004 and 871 million US dollars in 2005. It is expected that during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the sales of textile machinery products in my country will maintain an annual growth rate of more than 20%. The amount of supporting frequency converters is conservatively estimated to increase by more than 10% annually. In 2005, the number of supporting frequency converters in the textile industry was 300,000. And by 2100, the textile industry will use more than 500,000 inverters, and the total inverter capacity will reach 3.8 million kW, with an amount of about 2 billion yuan. It can be seen that the rapid development of the textile industry has expanded the frequency converter market and provided opportunities for the development of frequency conversion technology.

The textile industry is a big market for frequency converters, which is favored by domestic and foreign frequency converter manufacturers. Textile mills have also become an international frequency converter exhibition. Textile machinery has different requirements for frequency converters, and some have higher technical performance requirements for frequency converters. High, such as some chemical fiber machinery, cotton textile machinery, etc., generally use imported brands, while some value the price more and require general inverter performance, such as some knitting machinery, non-woven machinery and some dyeing and finishing machinery.
